Description of Role:

Leading the Lewisham LEP in developing and delivering a number of new School buildings and services within the Lewisham Schools for the Future programme;

Working with LEP shareholders and partners to deliver services to the London Borough of Lewisham as required by the LEP business plan;

To identify future opportunities for the LEP to deliver services to Lewisham that demonstrate efficiency and value for money.

Kalpesh Savjani

 

Job Title:

Assistant General Manager

Description of Role:

Working with our Supply Chain partners to manage the Facilities Management (FM) contract of operational delivery for seven schools (over 5,300 pupils). As well as managing the Information Communications Technology (ICT) delivery for the PFI schools but also to a number of Authority suppported lifelearning centres.

The key aim is to Manage and chair meetings to ensure real time solutions are implemented and carried through, considering any commercial perspective.

Background

An accountant by background I have been involved with the Lewisham BSF since February 2008.  I managed the accounting function for the LEP and the SPV’s as well as number of on-going Private Finance Initiative (PFI) projects, including schools and hospitals.



Sherry Pearce

  

Job Title:

LEP Office Manager - Team Administrator

Description of Role:

I ensure the office runs as smoothly as possibly, that everyone has everything they need to deliver these wonderful new schools. I assist with document management and production, ensure meetings are arranged and attended as necessary, keep everyone happy and make sure they can carry on with their roles without needing to worry about the little things.

Pierre Lamstaes

Job Title:

Project Finance Manager 

Description of Role:

My principal objective is to ensure that Lewisham is provided with the best school facilities at the best price, while delivering successful and profitable projects to the shareholders and supply chain.

I do this by co-ordinating all the financial and funding requirements over the life of each project, and by ensuring value for money and continual improvement is achieved for each project.

Background

Pierre has been involved in PFI since 2004 principally within the education sector, but also with light rail and social housing experience. He is a chartered accountant with extensive experience within the construction and engineering sector.
